Personal news

Good news for Zebster, sort of, and bad news for the blog. Given that I've been unemployed for far too long looking for a job that would pay well enough to take, time was running out, so I' ve accepted an offer to go back to my old job driving a bread truck for IBC. The good news for me in that? Obviously first and foremost, a job and, secondly, a very good paying job. The bad part of it is that it's a physically demanding job that I was working on average 60-70 hours a week, and I don't ever have 2 days in a row off. Oh well, I need the work.
Obviously it's going to put a huge crimp on the blogging. I'll try to stay informed with my XM while driving around between stops, and hopefully I'll be able to put something up two or three times a week. If anyone's interested, I'm planning on putting some work-related updates on All Things Zebster.
I do plan on continuing the work search as much as possible to find a new career that I really want, but until then THE BREADMAN IS BACK! Thanks everyone. Peace!

Zeb, congratulations. No doubt not having work makes for an anxious time (our longest draught was 5mos) so it is a relief to have money coming in! I think I can speak for all your friends in the blogosphere and say we'll miss you. Once you're in a groove with work, you'll find yourself another groove for blogging, don't forget about us!
as usual, big hi to Shelly!

Hey Zeb,
Thanks for stopping over at the "Collar". Congrats on the new job, my nieces hubbie drive big rigs for Price Chopper up in Mass. so I know it's tough work and long hours. You asked me what Colbert had to say about Lutheran's, unfortunately, though I watched the episode, I had downed a couple of cocktails and thus am more than a little fuzzy on the details.
Go Sox,
g

Thanks everyone for the support. Hopefully this will be temporary, as the job is an absolute bear and I'm getting old.
LOL @ the ninja, as usual.
G, Go Sox indeed. You should check out BoSox Tavern, which will continue to be lively w/out me. I'm sure there was a funny, noninsulting reason for Colbert to have Lutherans on his banned list along with Bears but I didn't know why.
Buff, I'll do that, though I'm thinking I shouldn't.
